The nonprofit landscape is changing and storytelling is becoming more important for organizations that want to grow and succeed! Dave Newton, founder of Standout Storytelling, will show you how to find stories, tell those stories in a compelling, engaging and efficient way and create momentum through stories that ultimately leads to more success for your organization. When done strategically and in harmony with online channels like social media, storytelling can and will help you accomplish the goals of your nonprofit.

Presenter
Dave Newton is the founder of Standout Storytelling, co-founder of NewMac Creative and digital director/on-air personality for Capitol Radio Group. His focus is moving charities, churches and organizations forward through compelling and engaging content with a focus on video and microcontent. 
 
Dave is a 10-year fundraising professional who served as program director for the Children’s Miracle Network at HSHS St. John’s Children’s and as marketing and development director for Compass for Kids in Springfield. He is also a 33-year radio professional who is co-host of the Dave & Dina show on 101.9 The Wolf in Springfield. Dave resides in Springfield with his wife Jane and has one son who attends Kent State University.
