Each year the AWC Seattle Chapter awards a scholarship to an outstanding college Junior or Senior who is majoring in Communications at a Washington state college or university. This has been a tradition for well over 50 years and we hope to continue to do so with support from generous donors like yourself. Thank you.
Donations accepted to support these college scholarships (2) given annually to Tulsa, Oklahoma-area communications students. The awards are named in memory of Ruth E. Richards, longtime AWC member, former AWC Tulsa president, Saidie Lifetime Achievement honoree and Chapter Super Star honoree. A life-long learner, Ruth was a talented development communications professional. Even more than that, she was a mentor who tirelessly helped countless peers improve their skills and our community.
