Know To Grow: How to Engage Your Employees, Colleagues and Business Partners
Presented by Dana Vogelmeier - AWC Member

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Have you ever worked with someone that was great to be around and you thought, "Wow, I wish everyone on my team was like that"? Or the reverse, "I hope s/he isn't in today because they are such a drag at work"?

A recent Gallup poll revealed 70% of the workforce is disengaged at work. That means only 3
out of 10 are engaged! If 7 out of 10 people in the workforce are disengaged, not willing to go over and above, not loyal to the company, and probably achieving low to moderate results, that means none of you are doing as well as you could when it comes to productivity, profitability, and morale.

You've seen the disengaged workers in the world. Join me to learn the ramifications for you, your company, and how to change it to get great outcomes!

ABOUT DANA VOGELMEIER

Dana has a passion for helping everyone find and create a work experience they love. She has had her own work experiences that were amazing and some that were less than amazing. Because of her personal experience and reflections on what made each experience good, average, or bad, she began to research and practice what she learned.

She holds an undergraduate degree in business, a master’s degree in Leadership, and is a Certified Performance Learning Professional (the CPLP designation). She is also certified to facilitate John Maxwell Leadership Training programs and The Culture Works programs.

Dana considers herself addicted to learning. She loves being challenged and stretched for self-improvement. She is a member of several learning and civic organizations. Two of her biggest recent challenges were participating in a “firewalk” which is walking across 8-10 feet of hot coals and she completed a Ted Talk at the local Ted X Normal event.

She has worked in several leadership roles in Ohio, Texas, and now Illinois. She is married to Scott, an attorney who works in the field of compliance, and a they have a daughter who is a Social Media Manager at a PR firm in Columbus, Ohio.
